The long delayed Hudson Related Riverwqlk Commons East extension between Riverwalk Heights (430 Main Street) and Riverwalk Park (460 Main Street) is finally going to open.

According to this Tweet from the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC), a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Roosevelt Island public space will take place 2:30 PM Wednesday November 19.
The Rivewalk Commons East will feature a large and small dog run, picnic tables, benches, patches of green, two swings and a lot of shrubbery.

A few remarks in regards :
Why do we need more dog runs ,there is one next to it plus the baseball field next to it is used as dog run in the mornings which is a viloation and nobody is monitoring it .
There is no PSD presence at the interesctions and motoristes are breaking the law endangaring pedestrians and there are a lot of ghost license plates parked illegally and without payment ,
what are we doing in regards and why there is chaos like that
It’s underwhelming. What happened to the original plan with an amphitheatre steps, hammocks, grill stations, a cherry grove, water front porch swings, and artificial mounds on the dog park shown in this earlier plan:
