Due to the Nor’easter wind and rain storm coming this weekend, tomorrow’s Saturday Roosevelt Island Farmers Market will be located under the protection of the Helix at Motorgate Plaza for your fresh fruits, vegetables and more.

According to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC):
The City has issued a Travel Advisory for Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27 due to a nor’easter expected to bring rain, strong winds and coastal flooding to New York City.
Winds are expected to increase Friday afternoon and evening, with gusts potentially reaching 40–50 mph. Rain is expected through Sunday, with approximately 2–3 inches possible. Coastal flooding is also possible around the Friday evening and Saturday morning high tides.
