Roosevelt Island’s Congressional Representative, Carolyn Maloney appeared on Stephen Colbert’s “Better Know A District” segment Tuesday night. Colbert introduced her as representing the 14th Congressional District that includes Manhattan’s Silk Stocking District and Queens. Maloney pointed out that she also represents Roosevelt Island. Good for her!
It was a funny segment particularly the breast pump discussion. I don’t think I will look at a bottle of Gatorade the same again.
