Winter Riding 101
What: Dont let the cold slow you down learn how to weather the weather in this indoor class.
When: Thursday, December 5 (7:30PM 8:30PM)
Where: Roosevelt Island, in the Sportspark ping pong room
Learn to Ride Adults
What: We arent your dad, and we arent going to just shove you down a hill. Using our safe, easy, stress-free method, adults and teens will learn how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bike.
Walk in; roll out. Bikes & helmets provided.
When: Thursday, December 12 (10:00AM 12:00PM; 1:00PM 3:00PM)

… It was during a jog around Brooklyn Bridge Park that I noticed an adults-only bike-riding class. (I like to run by the water because cardio is important and because I like to plan escape routes in the event of an apocalypse.) I signed up online, and a week later, at 10 a.m. on a Saturday, I found myself waiting with 20 other grown-ups for a two-hour session taught by an instructor and three volunteers….
