14 More Metered Parking Spaces Open To Everyone Now Available Below Queensboro Bridge – Tennis Bubble Losing Their Exclusive Parking Spots

The parking lot below the Queensboro Bridge which had been used exclusively by the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club (and before that was a Handball Court)

Image Of Roosevelt Island Parking Lot Below Queensboro Bridge From Google Maps will now be a metered parking lot open to everyone. According to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp ( RIOC ):

Additional metered parking is now available in the parking lot on the east side of the Tennis Bubble (facing Queens), which is slightly south of the Roosevelt Island Tramway. 14 spaces are available at a rate of $0.50 per 15 minutes with a 6 hour time limit Monday through Saturday. Parking is free on Sundays.
