The Sixth Annual Roosevelt Island Cherry Blossom Festival took place yesterday at several locations around the Island.

The 2016 Roosevelt Island Cherry Blossom Festival began with a Tea Ceremony at Manhattan Park’s Central Park Images By Lynn Strong-Shinozaki and the Roosevelt Island Parents’ Network Picnic Image From Eva Bosbach followed by Music, Dance and Martial Arts performances at the Manhattan Park Theater Club Plaza

hosted by Master Of Ceremonies Jim Luce.

After the performances, Roosevelt Island kids got a close up view of the Japanese instruments.
