Here’s a Roosevelt Island dream. A beautiful waterfront restaurant on the Roosevelt Island waterfront promenade with spectacular views of the NYC skyline, East River and Queensboro Bridge.
It might happen if the right Restauranteur can be found for the long empty Island House indoor pool which has just gone on the leasing market
with the Eastern Consolidated real estate brokerage company. The space is approximately 25,000 sq ft with high ceilings and huge windows facing the East River.

@RIOCny @Rooseveltisland Are there no regulations on #rooseveltisland governing signage? Is a billboard like this really appropriate? pic.twitter.com/XJRYXD5yhuRobert Ostergaard (@JROstergaard) October 4, 2017
I think the space has been empty for at least 20 years. Any experienced restaurant owners out there?
