As I was looking out the window of the Cornell Tech Cafe yesterday afternoon, I noticed a group dancing in the street in front of the Cherry Blossoms. I went out to watch

and find out what was going on.

According to Mirona, one of the Dancers:

As mentioned, the filming we were doing was part of the World Kizomba Project. Kizomba is a beautiful dance that originates in Angola, Africa. It is a couples dance and it is often danced to music sung in Portuguese or French.

The performance we did was part choregoraphed by the organizers of this project, and other part was jointly choreographed by the ladies in our group.

The ladies were:

  • Jenee
  • Ann-Sophie
  • Magali
  • Stefany
  • Mirona (myself)

The deadline for the submission of our video is 6th May after which time the organizers will commence their review and posting on both Facebook and Youtube
