Roosevelt Island Residents Association (RIRA) President Frank Farance adds:
RIRA has a special webinar tonight on hurricane preparedness. While Hurricane Erin is not expected to make landfall in New York City, its effects can be felt as the storm passes by. This would be a good time to check your plans for thinking about shelter-in-place, evacuation (to friends or a hurricane shelter), what supplies you might need, and tips to do this much better. With the timing of the storm track, how well would you have prepared or responded to a storm that makes landfall? Learn some of those answers tonight Thursday, 8-9 PM at our Zoom webinar, as presented by Frank Farance (RIRA President). The link is https://tinyurl.com/RIRACEC2023
