Multiple Roosevelt Island tipsters reported last evening, Sunday November 2, at approximately 8:40 PM:
Did you hear the shots?? Over by the 580 building area? I called the Public Safety Dep’t and they said they were confirming and to stay indoors! … There were many shots, I thought it was an AR-15! …

According to a NYPD spokesperson last evening:
NYPD 114 precinct responded to reports of gunshots fired at 560 Main Street at 8:30 PM. There were no injuries and no arrests. The matter is currently investigation. Ballistics were recovered on the rooftop.
This afternoon I asked the NYPD if there was any update, how many bullets were recovered and the caliber. There was no update.
The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) added today:
At approximately 8:30 p.m., PSD received several calls regarding possible shots fired near 560 Main Street. PSD officers responded to the scene, as did NYPD personnel, at which point the investigation was assumed by NYPD. RIOC appreciates the swift response and coordination with the NYPD

UPDATE 9:15 – There are reports of gunshots again tonight at Roosevelt Landings. According to a Tipster:
3 NYPD cars in front of 580 right now, 2 officers just went inside. Earlier today, there were 2 NYPD detectives inside 580

UPDATE 11/4 – NYPD has no information on gunshots Monday evening.
