A Roosevelt Island resident asked:

I just heard that someone got pushed onto the subway tracks on RI this morning. Any truth?

I asked the FDNY:

There are reports that a person was struck by a train at the Roosevelt Island subway station and the FDNY responded to the person under the train this morning.

Is that true?

Do you have any information on the incident?

What is the condition of the person?

Was the person pushed by someone or did the person fall on their own?

A FDNY spokesperson replied:
