The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) Public Safety Department (PSD) is hosting a community engagement meeting Wednesday September 30 at the Good Shepherd Community Center (543 Main Street) from 6-7 PM with PSD Chiefs Kevin Brown and Anthony Amoroso.
Come share your Roosevelt Island Public Safety concerns and ask any questions you may have.

Issues raised at past PSD Community Engagement meetings include:
- Domestic violence, homeless and mental health incidents,
- Main Street vehicular traffic, pedestrian safety and parking,
- Duane Reade shoplifting,
- Unleashed dogs and dog poop not picked up,
- Missing packages at The Landings
- PSD staffing levels,
- What PSD Officers are permitted and not permitted to do as a law enforcement body
among others.
