Loss of power at the West 4th Street subway station caused subway service outages throughout the system including the Roosevelt Island F Train subway station resulting in long lines at the Roosevelt Island Tram.
How was your commute this morning?
According to one resident waiting on the Tram line this morning:
Whose brilliant idea was it to have people wait out in the direct sunlight in a heatwave rather than having us wait in the shade on the exit ramp?? They easily could have cordoned off the inflow and outflow of people.
By 10 a.m the line was gone but cabin was jam packed.

UPDATE 7/30 – Today was the 2nd day in a row of Roosevelt Island F train subway service outage causing long lines at the Roosevelt Island Tram morning commute. The subway outage was caused by the Emergency Break being pulled and unable to start it again. Tram line went all the way to Sportspark. No line after about 45 minutes approximately 9:50.
