Image from Roosevelt Island Youth Program It’s almost time for Summer Camp on Roosevelt Island. I received this message from the Roosevelt Island Youth Program:
The Roosevelt Island Youth Program is now registering kids ages 6-13 for Free Summer Day Camp until May 27th, 2011. All applications must be picked-up at PS/IS 217 between 3PM and 8 PM, Monday-Friday. The camp starts July 5th, and ends August 19th.
Roosevelt Island Youth Program Campers can get breakfast at the school at 8:15AM, lunch at noon and a 3PM snack will be served. All this plus swimming, sports, crafts, tennis, drums, vocals,dance and a lot of fun field games.
Our full-time staff is certified in FIRSTAID/CPR/AED and our staffing to camper ratio surpasses the New York City Health Department requirements. The camp is funded by the Roosevelt Island Youth Program, Department of Youth and Community Development and Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation.
The Roosevelt Island Youth Program Day Camp will be open Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM. Camp Staff are available to stay with Campers until 6 PM. Get your applications in soon.
