Wednesday and Friday evenings are Roosevelt Island Mobil Snap Truck Day on the West Promenade near Starbucks and the Subway Station. Tonight I got the Chicago Dog with Avocado Fries and had dinner with a view. 
It was delicious. Another Roosevelt Island resident reports:
Oh man I had their Avocado fries tonight with the Harrisa Ketchup and they barely made it to the Blackwell house…. along with a Chili Cheese dog… they will be out there until 10pm. I might go back for more
