The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) is celebrating National Night Out tomorrow evening at Good Shepherd Plaza. According to RIOC:
Join PSD for National Night Out, a night that promotes police and community partnerships. The Roosevelt Island Public Safety Department (PSD) is once again hosting the annual event, complete with important safety information, food, giveaways, and lots of family-friendly fun!
This annual event will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Good Shepherd Plaza. We hope to see you there!
During the July 22 RIOC Public Safety Department Community Engagement meeting, RIOC Communications Director Bryant Daniels invited Roosevelt Island residents to the National Night Out festivities. According to Mr Bryant:
… August 5th is National Night Out on Crime. It’s an event we do every year right here in Blackwell Plaza. It’s a nice event where everybody can come together with with PSD and the community and get to know our law enforcement team….
