from it’s Motorgate Plaza Winter home.
The Roosevelt Island Saturday Farmers Market is a beloved member of our community – a place to purchase healthy and deliciously tasting local homegrown fresh fruits, vegetables and much more. It’s also a gathering spot to meet with our neighbors and learn about the latest neighborhood news and gossip.
The Roosevelt Island Saturday Farmers Market at Good Shepherd Plaza is open early morning to mid afternoon on Saturdays in good weather and bad.
The Wengerd Family has been serving the Roosevelt Island community at the Saturday Farmers Market for over 35 years.

Haki Compost Collective continues year round at Motorgate Plaza each Saturday 9 am to 2 pm collecting resident’s food scraps for compost.

Thank you for patching up the pot holes by IS 217. I thought that they were going to repave the entire street. Their is another pot hole by the cross walk wall by 625 Main Street in the Street someone could fall into.
Most of the crosswalks on Main St. are almost invisible. When will those be repainted?
