The smoke from Canadian wildfires is blanketing NYC and creating a serious health hazard for many.
Tibor Krisko shares these photos of the smoke
seen from the Roosevelt Island Tram.
According to comments on the Roosevelt Islander Instagram page:
- “I highly recommend masking up outdoors, especially for those in sensitive groups (very young, old, or those with illness or immune suppressed).”
- “Omgggggg it’s terrible! How some people are just walking out there is astounding!”
