The Today Shows Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer and crew visited Roosevelt Island Wednesday afternoon to tape an upcoming feature on the Islands iconic red Tram. This segment, for the NBC morning shows ongoing feature called, FAVORITE THINGS, celebrates New York Citys public transit.
Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation Vice President of Operations Shelton Hayes and Armando Cordovo, of Tram operator Leitner-Poma, briefly greeted the news team during their shoot and shared information about the Trams history and operation. The piece is set to air on The Today Show the week of March 19th.
