The Roosevelt Island Operating Corp (RIOC) issued this advisory yesterday:
With temperatures tomorrow, Monday, June 12, 2017, expected to be in the low to mid 90’s with high humidity, a Cooling Center will be available to residents between the hours of 9:00am-9:00pm.
From 9:00am-5:00pm, the Cooling Center will be located at the Senior Center located at 546 Main Street.
From 5:00pm-9:00pm the Cooling Center will be located at Good Shepherd Community Center on the lower level.
The Good Shepherd Community Center is located at 543 Man Street. UPDATE 8:15 PM – RIOC adds:
With temperatures tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13, 2017, expected to be in the low to mid 90’s with high humidity, a Cooling Center will be available to residents between the hours of 9:00am-9:00pm.
