WNBC , Gothamist and NY Post are reporting on a New York City undercover sting operation by Taxi and Limousine Commission officers posing as yellow cab passengers designed to insure that:
drivers aren’t violating rules against refusing credit cards, talking on cell phones and general rudeness. Violators may face fines, and repeat offenses could lead to license suspensions.
