Roosevelt Island West Pier According to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp ( RIOC ):

Please be advised that repair workat the West Pier willbegintomorrow, November 26, 2013. Construction on the Pierwill be taking placealong the West side of the Island, from the Subway station to the second staircase leading toward the street. Signs and notices to redirect pedestrian traffic will be posted.
