Most afternoons I can be found in my Roosevelt Island afternoon office working on my laptop at the Cornell Tech Cafe, Nisi Bistro or Cafe Aviva. Today I ventured across the East River to the newly opened Greats Of Craft LIC Waterfront casual cafe in Long Island City, a short 5 minute ferry ride and 3 minute walk from Roosevelt Island to work on some upcoming stories.
The pretzel and mocha were very good and so was the friendly and neighborly vibe at the Greats Of Craft.

The Greats Of Craft opens 7 in the morning Tuesday thru Sunday and is closed on Monday.
Their official Grand Opening is this Saturday.
