From the all things Roosevelt Island bin … thought I’d mention that in the first episode of the new John Oliver show on HBO… they featured a segment shot on RI. In case you didn’t know.
It was on top of the hill in South Point Park. Some female folk singer was singing a song. Really short segment on the show. However, I did recognize the location.
The folk singer was Lisa Loeb. She appears singing on Roosevelt Island’s Southpoint Park at about the 2 minute mark.
