Roosevelt Island residents, together with NYC Council Member Ben Kall os, NY State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright, RIOC Director Howard Polivy and RIOC CFO Kimberly Quiones welcomed the return of Nisi owners Kaie & Alex Razaghie with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
Congrats to the Razaghi’s and all of Roosevelt Island on getting #NISI open this morning. Breakfast was fantastic alongside @Rebecca76AD @RIOCny @Rooseveltisland and @Crane13 pic.twitter.com/VidGqfggXTBen Kallos (@BenKallos) December 4, 2017
After the ribbon cutting, customers entered Nisi for the first time,
for breakfast.
Owner Kaie Razaghie gave a thumbs up to open
the new Roosevelt Island Nisi restaurant. Check out the Nisi menu at these previous posts. UPDATE 8:20 PM – I went back to Nisi late this afternoon and was very pleased. I joined a couple of friends who loved what they had to eat. One had a Classic Cheeseburger for $7 and the other had The Western, Burger with aged cheddar, caramelized onions, bacon in BBQ sauce for $9. I had a side dish which was excellent – Panko Fried Avocado Sticks for $6. Restaurant was about 3/4 full. Service was very good and so was the ambience. I highly recommend giving Nisi a try. I think Roosevelt Island residents will like it. But, they were not ready to accept credit card transactions today.
