The Roosevelt Island Disabled Association (RIDA) has a bus
to transport their members
on trips for shopping, entertainment, cultural and events of all kinds on Roosevelt Island and elsewhere in the NYC area.
RIDA has a job available for person to drive their bus. According to RIDA President Wendy Hersh:
RIDA is looking to hire a driver for our bus. They must have a Commercial Driver’s License. They are responsible for assisting passengers on and off of the bus as needed, know how to work the lift, assist putting wagons on the bus by way of lift after shopping trips.
We pay $18 per hour plus a bonus tip and the driver should be available on some evening and weekends.
